Privacy Policy
Last updated September 7, 2026
The Private Advisory is the practice of Leanne Ozaine, CDFA, operated by Boardroom Financial LLC. This policy explains what information this site collects, why, and what happens to it. If anything here is unclear, use the contact page and ask.
Information you give us
You can read every page and play the free episodes without giving us anything. We only receive personal information when you choose to hand it over:
- Contact and inquiry forms. Your name, email address, phone number, where you are in the process, and whatever else you choose to tell us in the form. Submissions are delivered to us by Web3Forms, a third-party form service.
- Purchases. If you buy The Private Sessions, checkout and delivery are handled by Hiro.fm. Your payment details go to their payment processor, never to us. We do not see or store your card number. Billing appears on your statement as "Boardroom Financial."
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one collects standard analytics data through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics: pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring site, device and browser type, and how long you stayed.
We also use Microsoft Clarity, and it records more than a page count, so it deserves its own paragraph. Clarity captures how you move through a page: where you scroll, where you stop, what you click, and it can replay that as an anonymized session recording. We use it for one narrow purpose, which is finding out where our own pages lose people. What you type into a form is masked before it leaves your browser, so the words of your message and your contact details are not captured by Clarity. Recordings are not linked to your name, and we do not use them to build an advertising profile. If you would rather not be recorded at all, Microsoft offers a site-wide opt out at clarity.microsoft.com, and blocking cookies and site storage in your browser also prevents it.
We want to be specific about one thing, because a general answer would be misleading. When you submit a form, we attach a record of how you arrived to the inquiry itself. That includes advertising click identifiers (for example a Google Ads click ID), campaign tags in the link you followed, the page you landed on, the site that referred you, whether you were on a phone or a computer, and an approximate area, usually a city and state, estimated from your internet connection by our hosting provider. That estimate is often imprecise and is sometimes simply wrong. We do not receive or store your IP address. If you visited more than once before submitting, that history may be attached too.
This is not anonymous, aggregate traffic counting. It is joined to your name and your message. We do it for two reasons: so we know which advertising is actually reaching people who need this help, and so that when Leanne or someone on her team calls you back, they have some context about what brought you here instead of starting from nothing. We do not use it to build a profile for advertising to you, and we do not sell or share it for that purpose.
Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for the measurement described above, and cookies set by Hiro.fm if you begin a purchase. We also store campaign information in your browser so that if you come back later, we still know which link originally brought you here. You can block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. The site works fine without them, though some purchase functions may not.
How we use your information
- To respond to inquiries you send us and arrange a consultation.
- To deliver and support a product you purchased.
- To measure which advertising and which content actually bring people who we can help.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not share it with advertisers for them to market to you.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that make this site work, and only to the extent they need it: Web3Forms (form delivery), Hiro.fm (product delivery and payment), Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (measurement and advertising attribution), Microsoft Clarity (page behaviour and session replay), and Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, and the approximate location described above). Each processes data under its own privacy terms.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.
Confidentiality of what you tell us
People write to us about painful and private situations. What you send through our forms is treated as confidential and is read only by Leanne and, where necessary, her team. Please note that email and web forms are not secure channels. Do not send account numbers, Social Security numbers, or copies of financial documents through this site.
Sending a message does not create a client relationship, and it is not protected by any advisor or attorney privilege.
A note on discretion
We have designed parts of this practice to be discreet. The Private Sessions never appears in Spotify or public podcast directories, and billing shows as "Boardroom Financial" rather than anything referring to divorce. Those things are true and we hold to them.
We cannot, however, control what happens on your end. If someone else has access to your email account, your phone, or your card statements, nothing we do on our side changes that. Please use an email address and a device you are comfortable with.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept as long as needed to respond and maintain our records. Analytics and attribution data is retained according to Google's standard retention settings, and Clarity recordings according to Microsoft's, which is currently thirty days. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
- Opt out of any emails you receive from us.
- Block cookies and site storage in your browser.
- Opt out of Microsoft Clarity session recording at clarity.microsoft.com.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR. We honor those requests regardless of where you live.
To make a request, use the contact page.

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
